Disruption
DISRUPTION – An interference (action or event) with the orderly progress of a project or activity(ies). Disruption has been described as the effect of change on unchanged work and manifests itself primarily as adverse labor productivity impacts. If such disruption is caused by owner or engineer action (or failure to act), the contractor may be entitled to recover any resulting costs. See: RIPPLE EFFECT.
